The Routledge Handbook on Religion and Ecology (henceforth, The Handbook) is one of Routledge International Handbooks, which provide scholarly coverage of diverse subjects and contemporary issues. The editors of The Handbook are recognized experts in their fields. Jenkins is a well-known scholar on the ethical dimensions of ecological issues and the role of religions in ethical thought and action. Tucker and Grim administer the Forum on Religion and Ecology at Yale and have been instrumental in the development of the field of religion and ecology for decades.
