Outlook for global longs market cloudy

International Rebar Producers and Exporters Association (Irepas) released its monthly short-range outlook, in which it reported that the global long steel products market is depressed now as circumstances are becoming more diffcult. The outlook of the market is cloudy.Irepas indicated that the current status of the market can be described as fuctuat-ing and unstable, thus complicating securing orders at reasonable prices. According to the association, the problem is more with the demand side rather than supply, and, therefore, it might take longer for a balance to be reached. Besides, steel prices are decreasing, following the recent tendency of raw material prices, Metal Expert learnt.
