摘要

Authors describe oxidation-reduction peaks induced by iron ions (Fe), changes in pH and ascorbic acid (AA) in rabbit blood assessed by cyclic voltammetry. We eliminated iron oxidation peaks but enhanced reduction peaks by increasing Fe at –minus 0.75Volts. When ascorbic acid was added, a reduction peak disappeared and a large oxidation peak appeared. Low pH (2-6) increased Fe oxidation and reduction peaks. Our findings suggest that increased Fe ions in rabbit blood may induce antioxidant effects.
