Survival of the creative mind

For two days next month (October 13 and 14), professional floral designers from all over will converge on Taos, New Mexico to ponder a single word and concept: paradox. Some will have been thinking about this topic for a year—since last year's annualConference for the Survival of the Creative Mind. There will be presentations, discussions, and opportunities to explore the implications of paradox in floral design. It may seem like an unusual approach—and it is. Not quite a seminar, nor a hands-on workshop with emphasis on technique, the annual conference is more like a collaborative, contemplative retreat. For regular attendees, it's a reliable source of inspiration and awareness.
