Jiangxi Copper Corporation will soon start construction of an ore-dressing production line at Guixi Smelter to recycle more copper from slag generated from the smelter's flash smelting furnace and tilting furnace, source from the company said. The production line will have capacity of processing 1,600 tonnes of slag per day and recycle 11,000 tonnes of copper(metal contained) each year.
