Chinese Minmetals Corporation has signed a contract with the government of Jamaica to jointly develop bauxite resources in Jamaica, Mr. Zhou Zhongshu, president of Minmetals, and Dr. Robertson from the Ministry of Development of Jamaica, signed the agreement at a signing ceremony held in Beijing on June 20. Premier Wen Jiabao and Jamaican Prime Minister Percival Patterson attended the ceremony.
