Number of small coal and bauxite mines decrease in Henan and Shanxi

Since the trimming program was undertook in the mining industry across the nation, the mining activity has been improved significantly and the management on mineral resource has been strengthened, said Mr. Sun Wensheng, minister of the Ministry of Land and Resource of P.R. China, at an industrial meeting held in Beijing. By the trimming work, the number of coal mines in Shanxi province has decreased by nearly 30 percent while that down by 62 percent in Hennan province. The number of small bauxite mine in Henan province decreases by 64 percent.
