Project of using electric furnace to produce Al alloys launched in Inner Mongolia

Lianfae Mining(Inner Mongolia) Co., Ltd has recently signed a cooperation agreement with government of Qingshuihe country of Inner Mongolia to build an plant of aluminum alloys and aluminum wheel in the county. The two parties plan to adopt 2 X 20MVA electric furnace to directly process bauxite into 6061 aluminum alloy. The alloy will be used in production of aluminum wheel. Once on stream, the plant will be capable of producing 2.3 million units of aluminum wheel per year. According to their development plan, the two parties will build a complete industrial chain comprising of mining, smelting, founding and processing process. The total investment Is 300 million yuan and it will take two years to complete the construction.
