Sustainable food projects get €74 million in EU research funding to support F2F goals

The European Commission has announced several sustainable food research projects to help the EU achieve the goals of its Farm to Fork strategy (F2F). On 27 October, the Commission hosted an event to reveal the projects selected for funding under the Horizon 2020 European Green Deal R&D fund, worth a total of €1 billion. The EU executive dedicated €74 million of this fund for the F2F and projects that can demonstrate systemic innovations for scaling up more sustainable food in the bloc.
