摘要

The EU will fund a research project that aims to make the production of lab-grown meat cheaper and more sustainable. On 21 October, two Dutch companies – Nutreco and Mosa Meat – announced that they were awarded a €2 million EU grant for their “Feed for Meat” project, which aims to lower the costs of creating ‘base media’ – the most expensive step in the process of making cell-based meat.
