Dutch parliament votes to phase out pesticides

The Dutch parliament has voted for quantitative targets to phase out the use of pesticides in the Netherlands. On 6 October, a motion to gradually eliminate the use of pesticides in Dutch farming was adopted by a small majority of the country’s parliamentary parties and also called for a new plan to support farmers in this transition.
