CHEBOYGAN COUNTY, Mich.- Drilling was commenced late last week on the first follow up to the early 2010 Petoskey Exploration, LLC State Pioneer 1-3 HD1 Collingwood Shale / Utica Shale natural gas discovery well in Missaukee County's Pioneer Township (T24N-R7W), with Petoskey Exploration parent company Encana Oil & Gas stepping out more than 65 miles to the north-northeast to the location of the Kendall 1-33 (SL: SW SW NE, Sec 33-T35N-R2W, Koehler Twp., Cheboygan Co.), a vertical test targeted to a depth of 4,560 feet.
