Protecting the public from repeat drug-driving offenders: call for evidence

This call for evidence is seeking evidence on the creation of a drug-drivers: 1.High-risk offender scheme that requires clearance at a medical level to regain a driver’s licence. 2.Rehabilitation course to help offenders tackle their issues. The Department for Transport is exploring how to build on the well-established rehabilitation and high-risk offender courses for drink drivers, through the introduction of specific drug driving components.
