New companies with vertical integration will be launched during the next decade. Their marketstrategy will be aimed at increasing the presence in the segment for manganese ore and alloys,Metal Expert understands. What will be in common among all new players is that ore capacities will exceed announced alloycapacities. In this view, apart from reaching break-even alloys production, the new verticallyintegrated companies will seek to raise their shares in the ore market to secure profitability of themanganese business on the whole and to guarantee return on investments of the projects.
