A lean journey

By using 'lean' as a Bmanagement system that aims to deliver value to the customer while reducing waste, the customer can continuously benefit from the way that work is done. Highways England has an efficiency target of ￡1.2bn, of which the ambition is that lean will contribute ￡250m. The effective way of achieving this is of course with full co-operation from the supply chain.
