Some demand for rebar still present in Turkish domestic market

Domestic longs market sees moderate demand for rebar. Local trading companies are vigorously restocking, but book the material in small batches. Producers generally prefer just to compensate for currency fluctuations, although import scrap quotations are growing. Their behaviour is attributed to expectations of demand remaining stable roughly until mid-November, with a gradual decline to follow.
