Welcome to the April issue

Hello and happy Easter to those of you who are celebrating. I’m looking forward to marking the occasion with my ‘bubble’ as like many of you, we are still in lockdown here in the UK. The celebration will be a much needed distraction, although it will be within the confines of staying at home. Nevertheless, Spring is here to help cheer everybody up. Something else to look forward to is our Asia CanTech event this year including the Asia CanTech Awards which will be presented at a gala dinner on 26 October at the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. The awards are open to all can and end makers that are based or distribute their products in the Asia- Pacific region, and entries are free. This year the categories are: Aerosols; Beverage two-piece; Beverage three-piece; Decorative/Speciality; Ends, Caps and Closures; Food two-piece; Food three-piece; General Line; and finally Innovation.
