Turkey gives high priority to foreign direct investment, and virtually all sectors (including banking, farming and mining) are now open to foreign investors. All may engage in commerce, participate in partnerships, open branches, buy shares and establish offices. Profits, fees, royalties and capital transfers abroad are permitted.
