Epoxy in electrospun nanofibers acting as adhesive generates junctions between nanofibers and thus forms stable three-dimensional networks.One-dimensional nanomaterials such as wires and fibers are attractive owing to their unique properties and applications. Some applications such as substrates for immunoassays and supports for catalysts make use of the assembly of these building blocks. Therefore, how to assemble the building blocks into stable entities is critical for applications. This communication provides a general strategy to arrange junctions among nanofibers that lead to the formation of a stable three-dimensional (3D) nanofiber network.
