摘要

This paper gives a brief review of "spin-dynamics" in a broad sense in various kinds of fields at first. As development of devices involving both magnetism and transport becomes popular in recent years, spin dynamics below the time-scale of ns attracts much attention. Ferromagnetic resonance (FMR) has been used as a good tool to evaluate spin damping parameter. Instinctive understanding of Gilbert damping and spin pumping is explained. Next, experimental data for enhancement of Gilbert damping parameter evaluated from FMR spectrum and spin precession measured by a time resolved pump-probe method for Permalloy thin film are introduced. Finally, spin-switching observed by air-coplanar probes and the prospect for the switching triggered by spin injection are explained.
