Exports of frozen peppers by two producers show decline

GLOBAL exports of Turkish frozen sweet peppers slumped for the first six months of this year by 25% to 19 000 tonnes from 25 540 tonnes in the 2004 period, according to trade data just released. Indeed, of Turkey's top 10 export markets, only Sweden increased uptake between January and June this year, with most destinations reporting a double-digit downturn on half-year 2004.
