摘要

In this paper we theoretically investigate the thermal convection in a rotating nanofluid layer confined within Hele-Shaw cell for more realistic boundary conditions. The model used for nanofluid combines the effects of Brownian motion and thermophoresis, while for Hele-Shaw cell Brinkman model are employed. The flux of volume fraction of nanoparticles is taken to be zero on the isothermal boundaries. Due to Coriolis effect oscillatory convection occurs for the problem and the influence of Hele-Shaw number, rotation, Lewis number, modified diffusivity ratio and Hele-Shaw concentration Rayleigh number on stationary convection are shown both analytically and graphically.
