Simulation of the vibration of loose parts in the gearboxes of vehicles --Comparision of simulation with measurement

摘要

Increasing irregularities of the engine speed in modern combustion engines cause torsional and axialvibrations of unloaded loose parts within their functional backlash and axial clearance in the drivetrain, especially in the vehicle transmission. These vibrations of loose parts become apparent as arattling and jangling noise. By the use of a simulation program which was verified by tests on atestbed these sounds can he predicted with a sufficient precision and recommendations for low-noisetransmissions can be given.
