2021 MAY 05 (NewsRx) - By a News Reporter-Staff News Editor at Disease Prevention Daily - Researchers detail new data in Dental Diseases and Conditions - Tooth Loss. According to news reporting originating in Yamagata, Japan, by NewsRx journalists, research stated, "Risk factors for tooth loss have been widely examined previously. However, no previous study has comprehensively investigated the risk factors, including lifestyle-related specific factors (parity, oral health habits, and socioeconomic status), for fewer than 20 teeth among women in the general population in Japan." Financial supporters for this research include 21st Century Center of Excellence (COE) of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Japan Society for the Promotion of Science.
