FORECAST OF FESI SUPPLY IN UKRAINE

Despite an accident at the start of the year, the share of Zaporizhzhya Ferroalloy Plant in the Ukrainian marketexceeds 80%. The accident occurred at two furnaces in August is expected to result not only in lower FeSi ex-ports but also in some reduction of domestic shipments. As a result, the share of import FeSi may rise to 18%this year. Alloys from the restarted Stakhanov FP will be shipped to consumers in uncontrolled areas of Donetskand Lugansk regions and will not affect the Ukrainian market balance.
