The outlook for marine insurance in the year ahead can be summarised in just two words: more expensive. There is no need to even consult a crystal ball for P&I. At the time of writing, the majority of International Group affiliates had already revealed their hands, and almost all are seeking increases in the range of 5% to 10% at the next renewal round, which finishes on February 20, 2021.
