Review puts Scottish trunk roads deal on hold

The Scottish Executive has appointed two groups to manage and maintain the countrys trunk road network, only for the work to be put on hold subject to a review. Sarah Boyack, transport minister, ordered a review after one bidder, Clyde Solway, a team dominated by Scottish local authorities, challenged the tendering process.
