I have never met Mr Geoffrey Goodes and his family but I think they must be remarkable people. After Mr Goodes received dreadful injuries in a road crash, his name became prominent in local authority circles as he and his legal team fought to sue East Sussex County Council for damages, claiming it had been deficient in its salting of the road on which he had been driving.
