Lagan wins ￡34m Belfast route

Lagan Construction has won a ￡24 million contract to upgrade a major section of road between Belfast and Derry in Northern Ireland. The A2 Maydown to Derry road project is part of the Northern Key Transport Corridor connecting the two cities via Coleraine. The main route from Derry to Limavady, it provides links to key industrial zones at Maydown and Campsey and to City of Derry Airport, the main air transport hub in the north west of the province.
