Engineering services in Internet: chances and risks of bearing technology

By and by the internet becomes a respectable market for consumer articles. So the question arises, wether also investment goods from the mechanical engineering industry are suited for the internet. Omitting the field of commercial handling (e-commerce) this paper examines mainly the aspects of services among which for instance count the selection and calculation of products and the aid in the case of damages, using as examples the products rolling bearings and linear guidances.
