Software can cut contractors' costs

Highways contractors face many challenges. Not least that of operating within the jurisdiction of a public sector contract, which creates increasing pressure on time and budgetary restrictions through the contract delivery process. When an order is received it must be processed efficiently to ensure delivery of the work and in doing so the contractor must manage the costs, make applications, track variations and reconcile value to deliver profit margins that make the work viable in the first place.
