Drive systems for piece goods sorting plants --Part I: Drives with load application by positive and frictional contact

摘要

Piece goods sorting plants with tilting dish, transverse chord and slide shoe sorting machines makepossible cost savings in the distribution of goods in postal services and air cargo. This paper informsabout the operational behaviour of different drive systems which can be used for such plants. In thisfirst part drive systems with load application by positive contact (sprocket wheel, drag chain andworm gear transmissions) as well as with frictional contact (friction drives) are looked at.
