CMA CGM buys into last-mile logistics

CMA CGM is expanding into the last-mile delivery sector with the acquisition of a 51% stake in French delivery firm Colis Prive. Terms of the purchase from Hopps Group have not been disclosed, and the completion of the deal is dependent on approval by regulatory authorities, but the agreement gives CMA CGM the option of raising its stake in Colis Prive at a later date.
