DENMARK'S handling of an incident involving one of its naval vessels and suspected pirates in the Gulf of Guinea continues to draw criticism in Nigeria. The release of three suspected pirates back to the Niger Delta has worsened anger in Nigeria at not being consulted before the November 24 incident. "When they first came in, people thought, 'there's a job [to do], but they should go about it properly,'" a Nigerian legal source said. "But the release has gone down really badly on all accounts."
