POLICYMAKERS are ramping up efforts to recover container truck services for China's embattled Ningbo port. The government of Zhejiang province has barred the rest of its territory from restricting the travel of the trucks from and to the port, where operations are being disrupted by a coronavirus outbreak and lockdown rules. "Restrictive measures, such as blocking the departure or entry of container trucks" are prohibited to "ensure the normal functioning of the logistics system for the province's exports and imports", it said in a notification.
