Eni seeks exit from Blue Stream

ITALY’S Eni plans to sell its stake in the Blue Stream gas pipeline that carries Russian gas under the Black Sea to Turkey in light of the escalating conflict in Ukraine. The move ends a decade-long partnership at Blue Stream, and comes as other European majors including BP and Shell also announce plans to withdraw from joint ventures with Russian companies. Eni has been partnering with Gazprom on projects for more than half a decade.
