Tackling waste management

According to the UK Green Building Council (UK-GBC), around 120 million tonnes of waste is generated by the construction sector - this accounts for around one third of all waste in the UK. With that in mind, the need to control waste levels and ensure an environmental approach to waste dispoal and recycling has never been so important. Here, Richard Walker, marketing manager from Reconomy looks at the growing issues facing the industry and what can be done to tackle waste management issues head on.
