State labor officials,lawmakers and union leaders gathered on March 21 to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the Triangle Shirtwaist Co.fire,which led to the tragic death of 146 garment workers.On March 25,1911,fire swept through the Triangle Shirtwaist factory in New York City,trapping workers on the top three floors of a 10-story building,where exits were locked and fire escapes were defective.
