Five win places on Scottish framework

Five consultants have won places on the roads element of Transport Scotland's major new highways framework. Amey, AECOM, the UK arm of US group Jacobs, Mouchel and a joint venture between Mott MacDonald and Grontmij known as MMG are the five successful firms. The quintet will work on lot one of Transport Scotland's multi supplier framework agreement for engineering and transportation consultancy services. This section covers major roads projects. The original framework was set up in 2010 and procurement for the new agreement began in August 2014. For some of the successful companies a place on the new deal represented an extension of their original relationship with Transport Scotland.
