COCA-Cola and PepsiCo are looking to shift bottling assets onto strong franchise partners in order to refocus in house efforts on brand building and marketing, according to a recent Rabo-bank report. Significant continued M&A activity meant that bothCoca-Cola and PepsiCo were restructuring their bottling systems, said Ross Colbert, analyst from Rabobank's Food and Agribusiness Research and Advisory Global Beverages team.
