Russia currently manufactures a wide range of air defense missiles for tactical air defense of mobile army formations. The Tor (SA-15 Gauntlet) is a medium range system similar in role to the Roland or Crotale. The Buk-1M system, also called Gang in its export version (SA-11 Gadfly), the longest ranged of these three systems, somewhat similar to the I-Hawk in performance, but on a fully mobile launcher vehicle.
