Russian Anti-Tank Missiles

Russia manufactures a very wide range of antitank missiles, including infantry antitank missiles, helicopter-launched antitank missiles, and tank-fired guided projectiles. This report focuses on portable antitank missiles and the related types fired from helicopters. Infantry weapons include the 9K111 Fagot/Faktoriya (AT-4 Spigot), 9K113 Konkurs (AT-5 Spandrel), and 9K115 Metis (AT-7 Saxhorn). The 9K114 Shturm (AT-6 Spiral) is primarily intended for helicopter launch, but has also been used from armored vehicles. The 9K111 Fagot is similar in size and performance to the Euromissile Milan. The 9K113 Konkurs is similar in size and performance to the Euromissile HOT. The 9K114 Shturm is similar in performance to the US Army TOW, but has a different guidance system. The 9K115 Metis/9K131 Metis-2 is similar in size and performance to the MBDA Eryx.
