Plymouth City Council's initiative 'The Box on The Box' is a new digital reminiscence service developed in direct response to Coronavirus lockdown by The Box - Plymouth's new museum, gallery and archive. The Box was due to open in May 2020 but had to postpone its launch due to the pandemic. 'The Box on The Box' emerged as a direct response to lockdown as lots of content very quickly started to emerge online for children and families and the team at The Box realised there was a gap for those living in care homes.
