Unique expands into Saudi Arabia

Unique Group, provider of integrated subsea and offshore systems, is making its first move into Saudi Arabia with the opening of facilities in Riyadh and Dammam. Unique said the move was a response to customer demand for products and support services to be provided locally. The company, founded in 1993, is based in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, and has offices in Oman and Qatar. Director Sahil Gandhi said Unique had extended its "global footprint", increased access to emerging markets, and offered "a wider range of services", adding, "Establishing two facilities in the kingdom of Saudi Arabia is a clear indication of our intentions: to strengthen our presence in the Middle East, to acquire new partners for our portfolio, and to recruit the best talent."
