Unlike laboratory electrodes, process electrodes stay in contact with the sample 24 hours per day. Hence a perfect interplay between electrode and holder is of particular importance. A holder is essential for the best possible positioning of the electrode in the medium in order to guarantee an accurate measurement and a long electrode lifespan.
