Waterfall plots are a popular way to graphically display patients' response to a therapy. A waterfall plot is an ordered chart where each patient's numeric response is symbolized by a vertical bar. The plots can be a useful way to depict intersubject variation and can provide a visual assessment of efficacy.1 In the oncology literature, waterfall plots are often used to visually summarize the change in tumor measurements before and after therapy.
