Higher global prices for steel products to support raw materials quotes

The price downtrend has been short-lived in China, as in early February quotes began increasing again. Ahead of the New Year holidays suppliers sought to push quotes up as much as possible so that they would start falling from higher levels during the period of weakening trading activity. This year expectations of favourable market environment in March have also supported prices.
