Russia: pressure on mills' rebar prices to increase substantially from September

Russian mills raised domestic rebar prices by 3% in July amid stronger domestic demand, higher scrap quotes and rather favourable situation in the export market. Rebar prices are unlikely to decrease next month as traders and consumers have limited inventories ahead of the August booking campaign. Particularly, trading companies are lacking small sized rebars and some other most-traded products.
