Residual effect of sulphur carriers on yield, nutrient uptake and quality of mustard (Brassica Juncea L.) inacid alfisol of meghalaya

Field experiments were conducted during rabi 1998-99 and 1999 -2000 to study the residual effect of different sulphur carriers on yield, nurient uptake and quality of mustard. Significant residual effect of sulphur was obtained with the application of S @ 45 kg/ha to kharif groundnut. Among the sources, the efficiency of sulphur carriers followed the order: gypsum>SSP>eIemenlal sulphur.
