MTU Genset makes debut at DIMDEX

Rolls-Royce Power Systems chose the DIMDEX defence show in Qatar at the end of March to unveil its new marine genset carrying the MTU brand. The genset is based on a 6-cylinder Series 1600 inline engine that delivers up to 323 kW output and compliant with IMO Tier Ⅱ and EPA Tier 3 regulations. The marine engine version is built for on-board power generation and is derived from the highly robust and economical Series 1600 unit used for power generation on land.
